CLELBRATION OF NATIONAL EDUCATION DAY

A BRIEF REORT

The CCA department of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Amba, Partur, Distt. Jalna under the Pace Setting Activities celebrated  “National Education Day” with a great pomp and show  on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Aazad on 11th Noverber 2017. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas are the Pace setting institutions located in almost each district of the country. The students from the three nearby schools were called along with the students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Amba, Partur for the conduct of a Rally under the Pace Setting activity.

          On the occasion of National Education Day, a grand Rally was organised under the banner of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Amba, Partur, Jalna in collaboration with ZPPS, Amba, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Amba and Al-Huda Urdu School, Partur. The purpose of the rally is to aware  the people about the values of education and to make them acquainted with influence of education in the society. The Rally started at 9.30 in the morning from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya to Malang Shah Chawk, Partur via Indira Nagar (Slum Area) to Amba Village. The Sarpanch and the villagers  welcomed the rally and  appreciated the efforts and initiative taken by the principal, staff and the students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Amba. During the rally, the slogans regarding the awareness of education were given by the participants. Cards bearing the quotations and slogans were displayed. Refreshment was given to all the participants after the rally. The guest students visited the vidyalaya libraray, Samsung Smart classroom and the different laboratories.

          National  Education Day was celebrated in the MP Hall of the Vidyalaya. The following eminent guests were present for the programme.

1.    Mr. Renge  -Police Inspector, Police Station, Partur.

2.    Mr. Phupate – Tahasildar, Tahasil Office, Prtur.

3.    Dr. Prashant Ambhore-  Medical Officer, Rural Hospital, Partur.

4.    Dr. Nazer Quadri -  Director, Al- Huda Urdu School, Prtur.

5.    Mrs. Deepali Bonge -  Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat, Amba.

6.    Mr. Namdeorao  Kaldate – Vice –Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat, Amba.

7.    Mrs. Jadhav R.G. –I/C Head Mistress, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Amba.

8.    Mr. Kailash Bonge -  Social Activist

9.    Mr. Gunjhas Saheb – Nominee of SDM, Partur.

After speeches given by the students, the chief guests the chief guests addressed the students and focused on the importance of education by giving several examples from the real life situations. Mr. Renge, the Police Inspector, P.S., Partur, motivated the students for hard work. He further stated that there is no substitute for Hard work. Dr. Nazer Quadri emphasised on the quality education and appreciated the contribution of JNV’S for the quality education. In his presidential address, the principal of the host vidyalaya Mr. Madhusoodanan J. focused on the values of education and its impact on the society and the nation. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. R.B. Raut, the V/P of the vidyalaya. The programme was anchored by Mr. P.D. Pathan TGT (ENG). The celebration of the National Education Day was a successful one.
